Amanda McIntyre, LCSW-QS, M.Div.
As a woman of color, Amanda understands the pains and pressures of being in the margins; this empowers her to ensure that other marginalized groups and people have an opportunity to be centered with a safe place to land. In addition to her clinical background, Amanda attended seminary and has a M. Div., which allows her to truly see the WHOLE person as she integrates spirituality and mental health.
Amanda is intentional about two things:
1. Ensuring her clients feel safe and seen.
2. Encouraging grace & self-compassion.
Amanda is most passionate about supporting young adults who are actively trying to discover themselves and navigate “adulting.” Amanda is a client-centered therapist who offers trauma-informed care with a creative and holistic approach.Amanda is passionate about combating the multifaceted ways that trauma impacts our lives. She is committed to facilitating hope, healing, and wholeness in a world of wounded people.
